About Hospitality Action
Invisible Chips were created by Hospitality Action, the trade charity for the UK hospitality industry. For nearly 190 years, Hospitality Action has supported hospitality people experiencing financial hardship, poverty and physical or mental health challenges.
In 2025 alone, Hospitality Action awarded more than £1.05 million in financial grants, its highest annual figure since the pandemic. It also helped unlock more than £500,000 in unclaimed benefits and supported hundreds of people through specialist housing advocacy and debt restructuring services.
Hospitality Action also provides mental health support and signposting through its online advice service and 24-hour helpline, alongside an Employee Assistance Programme supporting around 200,000 hospitality workers.
