Updated 2nd April 2020

It is with a heavy heart that we have had to cancel the remaining concerts of the Sheffield International Concert Season and draw this current season to a close. Due to the current measures to fight coronavirus/COVID-19, no date has been confirmed in terms of when we are re-opening the City Hall but the health of our customers, our staff, the orchestras, the chorus and their teams is at the forefront of our decision making and our absolute priority.

Classical music has been at the heart of the venue since opening in 1932 and cancelling a concert is the very last thing we would ever want to do but in these unprecedented circumstances we want to give our customers and supporters certainty, however disappointing this is for us all, and reassurance that they can access refunds for these tickets. All ticket holders will be contacted directly by the City Hall box office. Please be aware that the City Hall Box Office is closed to the public, the box office team are working remotely and are unable to take calls at this time.

We are busy finalising details for our 2020/21 season with the Hallé and look forward to sharing the details of the brand new season with you very soon.

Thank you for your support of the concert season. Please take care of yourself and each other.
