Spend your lunch break in a joyous, inclusive environment with Sheffield City Hall's Lunchtime Choir, singing pop, folk, blues and gospel in a beautiful and historic musical setting.
This community choir in the city centre is open to everyone, even if you have never sung in a choir before. The sessions are all taught by ear, so no need to be able to read music and every kind of voice is welcome. All you need is a positive attitude and a desire to join together and sing for enjoyment!
Lunchtime Choir sessions are led by Val Regan who has over twenty years experience of creating community choirs and believes there is no such thing as a wrong note. She leads choirs and singing workshops across the UK and Europe, plus a host of music-making, composition and theatre projects. She is also an instrumentalist and arranger whose work includes two Sony Award-winning productions for BBC Radio Four.
