Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott – A Free Concert for Care Workers

Oval Hall | Sheffield City Hall

Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott's Free Concert for Care Workers event has been postponed due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation.

The show has been rescheduled to Sunday 2 May 2021.

All tickets are valid for this new date. Please keep hold of your tickets. Many thanks, SCH

Message from Paul & Jacqui:

“It is with great frustration that we must once again announce the rescheduling of our UK & Ireland tour dates. We had hoped to be in a position to play these shows in the Autumn but, due to the ongoing situation with venue safety in the UK & Ireland, it’s become clear that to do so would be putting our fans in danger.

We’re now moving the tour to April & May 2021 and all of your tickets will remain valid for these new dates. We‘re very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this but can’t wait to see and perform for you all at the new dates.”

Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott add a Free Concert for Care Workers at Sheffield City Hall

In respect of and to highlight their incredible bravery, Paul & Jacqui are delighted to add a Free Concert for Care Workers, this time at Sheffield City Hall on Wednesday 28th October 2020. Tickets will be available at 7pm on Tuesday 28th April.

Those eligible for tickets will be all care home staff working in council or private care homes that are members of Unison or the GMB Unions. Eligible staff members are entitled to bring one guest with them but will need two tickets (one for them and one for their guest).

Ticket applications must only be made by Unison/GMB member who work in Social Care or Care Homes, who must bring their valid union membership card (original format, no photocopies) to the show, as ticket checks will be in operation.
All tickets will carry the name of the person who made the booking, and this must match the name that is on Union membership card or admission will be refused. The guest of the eligible Care Home union member will need to be present and enter the venue at the same time.

Tickets will be limited to 2 per person (eligible Social Care Worker Union members and one guest) and will be available from 7pm on Tuesday 28thApril. The ticket link will be emailed to eligible Union members from tomorrow. (Saturday 25th April 2020)
We realise that this arrangement might not suit every care worker, but if you aren't in either union and would like to go you may be able to contact a member of staff at the same care home and go as their plus one.
If you secure tickets in error as you are not a care home or social care union member, please contact the ticket provider to arrange cancellation of those tickets.
If you secure tickets and find that you are unable to attend, please contact the ticket provider to arrange cancellation of these tickets, to enable the tickets to be available to other Unison/GMB social care staff.

Tickets will only be available through the email being sent to eligible Union members.

Babies in arms (ages 0-2) are not admitted into the auditorium.

All persons aged 14 and under must have a valid ticket and be accompanied by an adult over 18.
