George Sampson Cancels City Hearts Appearance
15 Jun 2010
Due to unforeseen circumstances George Sampson will no longer be performing at Captivating the Heart of Fashion on Saturday 19th June 2010. Sampson has been forced to pull out due to conflicting work commitments.
Understanding that George Sampson’s performance was a major draw to some ticket buyers, the charity organizers are making refunds available for this performance. However the charity extravaganza is still set to go ahead as planned with a variety of performers still taking part including Sophie Mei and ICE from Britain’s Got Talent.
All funds generated will be going to City Hearts, a residential programme for women overcoming serious life issues such as drug and alcohol addictions, self harm, unplanned pregnancies, depression and eating disorders. Based in Sheffield, the charity provides a safe, supportive environment designed to provide love, value and acceptance to every woman, helping them turn their life round in a positive way.
Some of the UK and Sheffield’s biggest fashion retailers are behind the fashion show, including Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Yes Orange, Each to Their Own, Roc & Doll, Miss Sienna, plus top local stylist Natasha Lyons and SPA 1877 hair supremo, Conrad Blandford.
With a range of fashion choices for all ages and sizes, plus a never-seen-before collection designed by students from Sheffield Hallam University, the charity is urging Sheffielders to sign up soon for this affordable catwalk night out.
Ticket holders with any further enquiries or requesting a refund should contact Sheffield City Hall Box Office on 0114 223 3701 or in person no later than Friday 18th June.
