After months of fevered anticipation and levels of hysteria not witnessed for decades, One Direction's tour date at Sheffield City Hall goes on sale at 10am on Saturday 1^st October. Demand for the concert is phenomenal and tickets are expected to sell out very quickly.

If you're planning on buying tickets for One Direction, please be very patient with our Box Office team as they will work hard to answer everyone's calls and queries as soon as possible. Here are just a few tips to help you with your booking;

1. Tickets
Tickets prices at £19.50 and £27.50 (subject to booking fees) go on sale at 10am on Saturday 1^st October. All tickets go on sale at the same time - online, in person and over the phone. There is no priority booking for this show and it has been confirmed that there are no meet and greet packages available.

2. Age Restriction
Anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult to the concert itself and when purchasing tickets. If you are 13 or under, you will need to be accompanied by someone who is over 18. You may be asked for ID to prove your age, so please make sure you have some with you in case asked when booking.

3. Ticket Restrictions
At the request of the promoter all tickets are limited to 4 per person.

4. Telephone Bookings
If you can't make it to the City Hall Box Office in person, please give us a call on 0114 2 789 789. All our phones will be fully staffed however please be patient as our team works their way through the queue. We will get through calls as quickly as possible. We are unable to sell any tickets before 10am so please do not call before then.

5. Online Booking
Tickets are available to purchase at http://www.sheffieldcityhall.co.uk/events/one-direction from 10am on Saturday 1^st October. At 10am, the 'coming soon' tab will change to a buy now link so please make sure you refresh the page.  Due to the huge surge of traffic we're expecting, please be patient as the system may be running a little slower than usual. Tickets are expected to sell out very quickly and if you receive a message that states 'tickets currently unavailable' this means that the show has sold out. It may be possible to book single tickets so you could try calling the box office on 0114 2 789 789 to check. Please note that you cannot select specific seats online and tickets are allocated on a 'best available' basis.

6. Sheffield City Hall Box Office
The box office will be open, as usual from 9.30am on Saturday 1^st October to all customers. However, no tickets for One Direction will be available to purchase until 10am when the show goes on sale nationwide. We are anticipating a long queue for the show, so please be patient as the Box Office will be working as quickly as possible. Stewards will be on hand if you require any help. Children aged 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult when booking tickets.

7. Camping
As a venue, for safety reasons, we do not advise customers to queue or camp over night in the middle of the town centre before the on sale of a show concert, however we are aware that some people will choose to do so regardless. If you're planning on camping out overnight, make sure you have a responsible adult aged 18 or over with you especially while the venue is closed.

8. Approved Ticket Agents
Please remember that not all tickets are sold through the Sheffield Ticketing Network and some tickets are available from ticket agents. We would like to advise customers that only by purchasing tickets through the venue and authorised ticket agencies (listed below), can you be sure that the ticket you purchase is a genuine and valid ticket.
