Sheffield City Hall is set to bring back City Stars summer camps again this August, following the successful launch of the camps last year.

Are you fascinated by fame? Do you want to walk in the footsteps of the stars? Do you love acting, dancing and singing? Then it’s time you discovered your star quality with City Stars!

Following the huge success of last year’s activity days, Sheffield City Hall once again welcomes the future talent of stage and screen with all new performance workshops for 8 – 16 year olds.

These exclusive one day events incorporate a variety of activities including all new dancing and acting workshops, a technical tour of the building with access to what goes on behind the scenes and, for the first time, a chance for you to demonstrate your vocal skills in our brand new singing class.

This is your chance to shine as our professionally trained singing and dance teachers guide you through the techniques and performance methods used by the stars. With lunch provided for all the kids, plus the chance for parents to watch their children on the main Oval Hall stage, this is an opportunity that must not be missed!

There are only six opportunities to experience this unique day; 7^th, 8^th or 9^th August 2007 (for 8 – 12 year olds) and 14^th, 15^th or 16^th August 2007 (for 13 – 16 year olds).

City Stars coordinator Mark Roberts said “We are really excited that City Stars is back at City Hall again. Last years camps were fantastic and this years are set to be even more memorable! We’ve got some amazing activities, including a dance workshop with a choreographer who has previously worked with Emma Bunton and Rachel Stevens.”
