Sheffield-based pianist Philip Thomas specialises in new and experimental music and treated us to an unforgettable world premiere last season. He prides himself on making every concert a unique event and this year treats us to a programme of music for Toy Piano and Piano. Musically the menu includes John Cage, Gyorgy Kurtag, Robert Schumann, Helmut Lachenman, Tchaikovsky and Mick Beck.
