She's "made it back"! Beverley Knight is back on tour this year and heading to Sheffield City Hall on Sunday 22 November. The UK Soul Queen returns to the Irwin Mitchell Oval Hall having played to a packed audience back in 2007.
Knight has just completed work on her sixth studio album, entitled 100%, due for release on 7 September 2009. The multi award winning star has worked with an impressive array of collaborators and producers to complete a body of work that is sure to be widely acknowledged as the best album of her career so far.
100% sees triple Mobo award winning Knight working with illustrious former writing partners Guy Chambers and Jimmy Hogarth (Adele, Duffy) as well as with multi Grammy Award winning legends Jam and Lewis, plus Ivor Novello winning songwriter Amanda Ghost (Beyonce, Shakira). Knight and Ghost are co-writers of the album's first single, Beautiful Night.
September also sees Beverley branch out in a new direction with the launch of her own cosmetics range for darker skin. K by Beverley Knight is to be launched exclusively in Selfridges stores initially, before rolling out to John Lewis and other stores thereafter.
