Larks in Transit is a compendium of travellers’ tales and the general shenanigans of twenty years as a travelling comedian. With musical virtuosity, surreal tangents and trademark intelligence, he tackles politics, philosophy, the pursuit of happiness, death metal, ringtones… and an excruciating encounter with Paul McCartney. Two decades of life as a comic filtered through what the Daily Telegraph calls ‘the brainiest comic of his generation’.

Begin your evening with our Pre-Show Dining, the perfect way to relax and enjoy a seasonal three course meal safe in the knowledge that you'll be served in plenty of time to take your seat before the start of the performance.

With no anxious wait for the bill, and rushing from a restaurant to your seat, you can relax and enjoy a hearty home cooked meal from our seasonal menu for just £20 per person for three courses, served less than a minutes walk from the auditorium.

Once you've booked our Pre-Show Dining simply arrive at the box office at 6.00pm on the day of the performance, our friendly staff will take you to your table where you'll then enjoy a freshly prepared meal.

Smoked bacon, leek and gruyere tart

Served with and fennel and endive salad and a tomato dressing

Plum tomato and buffalo mozzarella bruschetta (v)

Braised chicken in red wine, shallots, mushrooms and bacon

With dauphinoise potato

‘Mill close farm' feather blade of beef braised in local ale

Served on crushed Herb Potato with roasted Root vegetables glazed in Honey and Thyme
