Can I Camp over night for tickets?
The City Hall does not advise customers queuing or camping over night before a show concert.

Following previous incidents that have occurred whilst customers queued overnight, we owe a duty of care to anyone who decides to queue on our land and it was clear after investigations that we were not in a position to fulfill this obligation.

We are unable to provide security and staff to monitor the queue in order to ensure safety. Further the area isn't suitable for people camping due to the location and the close proximity to clubs, pubs and bars. We also have no services available such as toilet and wash facilities for the customers.

We are fully aware that for some fans queuing to buy tickets is part of the fan experience. We are not trying to prevent this, but simply place manageable parameters to enable customers to be able to purchase tickets safely.

How do I make a complaint?
Sheffield City Hall endeavors to make your visit as enjoyable as possible, however if you do encounter a problem please feel free to contact us by emailing info@sheffieldcityhall.co.uk F.A.O Customer Services.

Please note it is often easier to resolve a complaint at the time as there is often very little we can do after the event. A Duty Manager always works at each event so it is always best, in the first instance, to speak with them at the time to see if your problem can be resolved immediately.

I’m getting ‘AVS Declined’ / ‘AVS error’ when paying by debit/credit card online – what does it mean? If you receive an ‘AVS failed’ error this is due to the address you have entered not matching that of your payment card. Our Ticketing System will only authorise debit/credit cards if the full name and address details match where the card is registered. If these do not match then the card transaction will be declined and we will not be able to process the sale. This may result in your account appearing to have a charge taken – this will be removed by your bank automatically within 3 to 7 days.

For all enquiries & further information,  please complete our online enquiry form or contact the Sheffield City Hall Box Office on 0114 2 789 789.
